Here we have a replik of an old fontaine of the 19. Century. This Fontaine is heavy made from metal and Glass.
It is a wonderful Fontaine where the waterreservoir is hold from a green fairy.
This fontaine is 61 cm high.
It is perfekt to do the french absinthe ritual with a sugar cube on an absinthe spoon.
Perfectly you use a reservoirglass (Pontarlierglass). put 2 cl absinthe in it so that the reservoir is full.
Fill the Fontaine with Ice and Water.
Use an absinthespoon place the absinthespoon with a sugar cube over the glass and place it under a tab of this fontaine.
If You use know the tabs the Ice water will flow drop for drop over the sugar and you will get a perfect louche.
This way to drink absinthe is really traditional and you will have a lot of fun and romantic green hours on this way.
